We are proud to say “2 down, 102 to go”, kids in school, that is.
Last week we were honored to attend the high school graduation of Enrique and Dennis. But their time off was short lived because they both actually started college the last week of January. Both are studying to be electrical engineers. They both report that classes so far are going well and they are very excited about the future.
To everyone that has sponsored Dennis and Enrique over the years, congratulations! It is a job well done! They have turned out to be such fine young men and we are excited to see what God has in mind for their lives. So once again, we want to thank God for His grace in the lives of our kids. Each day they are growing in Him and in His likeness.
We want you all to know that we feel your prayers each day for us. We ask that each of you take a copy of this monthly bulletin and put it up in your places of worship or work, so that others can also begin to pray for these kids.
This year nine of our kids will be graduating high school! I look at each of them and think, “My goodness, where did the time go”? I also think, “My goodness, look what the Lord has done!” Where would they be right now had they not come to WWH2H? I can’t even imagine, and now I don’t think I can imagine just how far they will go. Each one is a walking, talking miracle and here at WWH2H there are many.
To all of the sponsors of those kids that are now in their last stages of childhood, job well done! Thank you for trusting in us and trusting in these kids. Please continue to help us take the next Wendy, Ilcy, Sarahi, Olvin, Juan or Daniel off the streets today and give them a hope and a future!
Blessings —Oscar & Amy
