Continuing this month, we are giving you some insights about some of our children so you can learn more about them, highlight their accomplishments and successes as the Lord moves them along the path of their lives.
Exequiel is 11 years old and will be starting 5th grade in August. He is enjoying his summer -working very hard and playing a lot of soccer. Being a typical eleven year old boy, he loves to play. At
school, he can always be found running around on the playground with his friends. His favorite thing to do is play soccer, which is good because when he grows up he would like to be a soccer player. Exequiel enjoys learning and school in general, his favorite subject is math. When asked what people should know about him, Exequiel replied with a smile and then laughed. Everyone should know that Exequiel can often be found laughing, which is pretty great. He also really enjoys being with his two brothers and sister. It is especially sweet to watch how much he looks up to his big brother who indeed is setting a great example for him. Keep smiling and laughing, sweet boy!
This year has brought great changes and growth for Nohelia. She has really come out of her shell. She will be entering 9th grade in August and will be celebrating her quinceanera in November. There are a lot of things that Nohelia enjoys doing, but some favorites are reading, watching T.V., listening to music and dancing. Nohelia also does an exceptional job of helping with all the little ones and does lots of house work as well! She really loves school. Her favorite subjects are Spanish and English, because the teacher is really fun. When Nohelia grows up she would like to be a veterinarian or a scientist, because she also really likes science. Nohelia would like everyone to know that she is a fun person. The best gift Nohelia has received from the ministry is her education. May this sweet, beautiful girl always know how loved and treasured she is!
Francisco is wise beyond his years. He has dreams and with hard work and a strong faith we know he will be successful. Francisco is 14 and will be in 9th grade this year. He loves learning. His favorite
subject is science. This year he got to learn all about outer space. He really enjoyed learning about the constellations, the planets, the stars and especially the heavenly bodies. When he is not busy learning, Francisco likes to swim, fish, and he also really likes roller coasters. When Francisco grows up he would like to be an architect. He would like to build a house for himself, and also houses for others. After all this building, he would like to have fun. The best gift Francisco has received from the ministry is love, in his words, “That they love me.” May this very smart and practical young man go forth and show the world the love that he has been shown!
